Buhari asks Senate to confirm NDIC boss' reappointment

– Nigeria’s president Muhammadu Buhari has nominated Umaru Ibrahim as the managing director and chief executive officer of Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC)
– The president also asked lawmakers of the eighth assembly to confirm the appointment of Ibrahim as NDIC boss
– He said his reappointment is in line with Section 5 (4) and Section 8 (3) of the NDIC Act

Nigeria’s president Muhammadu Buhari has nominated Umaru Ibrahim as the managing director and chief executive officer of Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC).
The president today, November 1, asked the Senate to confirm Ibrahim as the CEO of the agency.
The letter addressed to the Senate President said the reappointment of Ibrahim was in accordance with Section 5 (4) and Section 8 (3) of the NDIC Act.
Ibrahim was born in Karaye, Kano state.
